The first place we stayed in Tuscany was a hostel inside a building that was first built in the 12th century. It's original use was a hospital. It was then bought by a group of nuns and served as a monastery for many years. It is now one of the most unique hostels we have ever stayed in. It rests on a hill overlooking the city of Florence.

The second place we stayed was called Collina Tuscana Resort. It was SO beautiful and peaceful. The resort makes their own wine and olive oil from the vines and olive trees on the land.
